Notice of Acquisition of “Automobile Dismantling Business License” Based on the Automobile Recycling Law

(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Koichi Narasaki), is pleased to announce that it has obtained an “Automobile Dismantling Business License” under the Automobile Recycling Law at its Akiruno Plant.

Automobile dismantling is an industry that involves dismantling and disassembling automobiles with the aim of reusing and recycling their parts and materials. Automobile dismantlers collect non-operational vehicles, accident-damaged vehicles, and scrap vehicles, disassemble and remove the vehicle's parts and materials, and refurbish and sell reusable parts. Additionally, the metal resources such as iron and aluminum extracted through dismantling are sold to recycling companies in subsequent processes, enabling their reuse. The automobile dismantling industry plays a crucial role in Japan's automobile waste disposal system, and proper processing contributes to environmental protection.

With the acquisition of this dismantling license, we have established a system to independently carry out the entire process, from collecting and dismantling used vehicles supplied through diverse procurement channels, including insurance companies, to exporting and selling refurbished used vehicle parts to emerging regions such as South America, the Middle East, and Africa. Going forward, we will enhance recycling and reuse efficiency through technological advancements and the accumulation of sales data, contributing to further industry development as a recycling company.
